If anyone can be accredited/blamed for the huge explosion of popularity of snapback hats in the 80s (that continued well into the 90's), it's the late great Eazy-E. In his video for "Real Muthaphuckkin G's" (1993), Eazy can be seen rocking a variety of snapbacks including the LA Raiders and the White Sox.
By now you're probably missing that song/video soooo bad. Don't wory, we're going to make your day by putting it right here (and it's not the whack censored version, either!).
