The Anaheim Angels are a member of the Western Division of Major League Baseball’s American League founded in Los Angeles in the year 1961. They are a professional baseball team that is based in Anaheim, California. Founded and owned by the entertainer Gene Autry for 36 years. Since the year 1966, they were based in Angel Stadium of Anaheim. However, on 1892, the team was then based in Los Angeles. On 1986, the Anaheim Angels did not make it to the World Series berth. Since then, the team has changed had several name changes. On 1997, the Walt Disney Company under the manager of Mike Scioscia took control of the team. They won their first pennant and World Championship In 2002. In 2005, a new owner Arturo Moreno added “Los Angeles” to the team’s name and eventually it became Anaheim Angels.
