The Arizona Diamondbacks are a professional baseball team who play in the West Division of Major League Baseball’s National League and are based in Phoenix. Since the year 1998, they have been playing in Chase Field. The team won a World Series title on the year 2001 which made them the fastest expansion team to win a championship in the majors. The Arizona Diamondbacks fell on the last place by the end of the 2009 season. At the same year, their manager Bob Melvin quit and so A.J Hinch was hired. The team’s tough year was blamed on a struggling offense which was an average of .224 and had an inadequate pitching staff which had an ERA of 4.18.
