The Houston Rockets are a professional basketball team as well as part of the National Basketball Association (NBA) what was first started in 1967. The Rockets are part of the Southwest Division in the Western conference of the NBA. Before ultimately moving to Houston, the Rockets were actually based out of San Diego, California for four years. While they made it to the finals and the NBA championship several times, it took them 27 years to win their first championship. Lead by hall-of-famer Hakeem Olajuwon, the Houston Rockets won back to back championships in both 1994 and 1995. It wasn't until 2009 that the Houston Rockets were able to get back into the playoffs and make it past the first round. Even though they dont have a stellar history, Houston Rockets Snapbacks are still very popular.
