The T-Wolves, as they are often called, are a professional basketball team and a member of the National Basketball Association’s Western Conference-Northwest Division. They are formally known as the Minnesota Timberwolves, and are owned by Glen Taylor. The Minnesota Timberwolves were founded and established in 1989, and since then had the Metrodome as their home court. Shortly, they transferred to the Target Center and made it their new home court in 1990. Unsurprisingly, the Timberwolves had experienced some trouble and instability during the first years of their existence. Nevertheless, they were able to gain eight succeeding appearances in the playoffs from 1997 to 2004, subsequent to Kevin Garnett’s entry in the team during the 1995 NBA Draft. In 2004, they won their first division title and made it to the Western Conference Finals. Consequently, Garnett was hailed as the Most Valuable Player of the NBA for that particular season.
