The San Antonio Spurs, part of the National Basketball Association’s Western Conference, Southwest Division, are a mens’ professional basketball team based out of San Antonio Texas. Together with the Pacers, Nets and Nuggets, the San Antonio Spurs make up the four former American Basketball Association teams that still exist in the NBA today. They also happen to be the only former ABA team to have an NBA championship game under their belt.
