The Vancouver Grizzlies were a, now defunct, men's basketball team out of Vancouver, Canada. After their introduction in 1995, the teams performance began to slack. As a result, the attendance to their games began to dwindle as well and the team was eventually moved to Tennessee where they became the Memphis Grizzlies. Like the Toronto Raptors, the Vancouver Grizzlies entered the NBA as an expansion team in 1995. During this time, they held their games at Rogers Arena (previously General Motors Place) which they shared with the Vancouver Canucks, their professional hockey team. In thier first year of play, the Vancouver Grizzlies actually lost 23 straight games (which was an NBA record at the time). Despite their poor history, they happen to have a great logo thus making Vancouver Grizzlies snapbacks very popular!
