Now known as the St. Louis Rams, the LA Rams were an American football team who played in the National Football League’s (NFL) West Division of the National Football Conference (NFC). They were founded in 1936 in Cleveland, Ohio, and are currently based in St. Louis, Missouri. The team was derived from the previous Cleveland Rams, one of the founding members of the second American Football League (AFL). The LA Rams originally played in Cleveland, Ohio, and in 1946 moved to Los Angeles, California, therefore being called the LA Rams. Later on, they relocated to the Orange County and played their home games at the Anaheim Stadium with the same name.
