The Miami Dolphins are a professional football team in the American Football Conference, east division of the NFL (National Football League). All of the Dolphins’ home games are played at the Sun Life Stadium that is located outside of Miami Gardens. In 1966 the Dolphins became one of the first teams in the AFL to come out of an area that otherwise had no professional football teams. Once the merger between the AFL and NFL happened in 1970, the Dolphins became one of Florida’s most recognized professional sports teams. In 1972, the Miami Dolphins completed the NFL’s first perfect season, culminating in their win at Super Bowl VII. After they won the Super Bowl the next year, they also became the second team to win back-to-back Super Bowls. The Dolphins also had arguably the best quarterback in NFL history, Dan Marino, on their side who lead them to 4 division titles. Are you a big Dolphins fan?
