The Atlanta Thrashers are a member of the National Hockey League (NHL) and play in the Southeast Division of the Eastern Conference. They are an American professional ice hockey team whose home rink is at the Philips Arena in downtown Atlanta where they play their home games. The Atlanta Thrashers are based in Atlanta, Georgia and were founded in 1999. Their team colors include Georgia Bronze, Thrasher Ice, Capitol Copper, White, Peachtree Gold and Atlanta Midnight Blue. They are owned by Atlanta Spirit LLC and managed by Rick Dudley. Head coach for the Atlanta Thrashers is Craig Ramsay while Andrew Ladd is the current team captain. Ever since their establishment, the team has won only one division championship. The team does not have any members in the Hall of Fame yet.
