The professional ice hockey team, the Nashville Predators are based in Nashville, Tennessee. They are members of the Central Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). The Bridgestone Arena formerly known as Sommet Center, Gaylord Entertainment Center and Nashville Arena is their home base. On the 2010-2011 season, the Nashville Predators traded captain Jason Arnott for winger Matt Halischuk of New Jersey. On that year, the team signed 1999 second round draft pick Jonas Andersson and Sodertalje on the opening of the free agency. The team also had Roman Josi, Anders Lindaback and Atte Engren on that same year. By July 2, the team confirmed their three-year 10 million dollar contract with veteran Matthew Lombardi.
